Group Mentoring

Adversity is a part of life; it can make or break us. The other side of the coin is it provides the circumstances that define us and give us our story to tell that helps others. When faced with adversity, there are two outcomes. Either we prevail and win, or we give up and lose. The most important part is that we just keep going. Staying physically, mentally, and spiritually healthy will increase our chances of beating life’s storms. Making mindset and wellbeing our priority serves us and our loved ones well”. Tony Terranova

Group mentoring or Public Speaking can cover physical and mental health, general wellbeing, self-esteem, team building/bonding, overcoming fears and adversity and lifestyle changes. It involves two or more individuals who may or may not know each another and may have similar or different needs and goals. Mentoring creates a bond between mentor and mentees that’s helps individuals realize their potential.

Tony has mentored people for several decades in various aspects of martial arts, fitness and conditioning, lifestyle changes, engineering and how to navigate adversity. He has found that there are instances when group coaching is preferred. He believes there is value in the collective intelligence within a group environment where differing opinions and voices are heard based on varying experiences.

“Great speaker, very inspiring story, and very informative too. Made me reconsider some of the challenges I am currently facing at work and at home.”

“It was very emotional heartfelt, and he was so motivational even though he said he wasn't a motivational speaker, but I felt because it was from someone real and had been through such a trauma it showed how normal people can deal with such adversity.”

“Great event, content was spot on, and Tony was truly an inspiring man with so much to say. He was very engaging, open and honest. I've taken so much away from his talk and feel I can not only apply what he said to my work life but also my home life.”

“The speaker was clearly, and quite rightly, passionate about what was done. It was great to hear about the challenges first hand and how day-to-day challenges and this have similarities in nature and strategies for tackling.”

“I found this to be perhaps the best speaker I have had here.  It was a very personal subject, and it was his first time speaking, however, he was perhaps the most impactful speaker. A truly motivational event.”

“This was one of the most impactful and and inspiring events I have attended JPM. Tony style was incredibly personal and honest, but also really brought out motivational takeaways applicable across one’s personal or work life. I wish the family all the best.”

“I thought the Terranova family‘s story was told beautifully. Tony shared part of himself with us and that made it all the easier to connect and empathise with him. The honesty of his storytelling was very special - it would’ve been easier to sugar coat the story but by telling us about the challenges - emotional and physical, it made the audience feel involved on the journey. I wish Tony and his family and friends all the joy and happiness they deserve.”

“Thank you for inviting me and organising, it was very moving and Tony is quite inspirational”

“Thank you for bringing this event to my attention Jenn, it was truly inspiring. I am so proud of myself for not howling - I welled up within seconds of the first video starting so it was close!”
